Keyless Entry Protection
DFLEKT was invented to prevent a growing problem with thieves intercepting signals from keyless car remotes. The design creates a sleek home key box to block the key emitting a signal.
The self-close lid and careful attention to detail to block the signal entirely using overlapping parts, created a patentable and fully functional design. Prototyping focused on both the effectiveness of the design but also the appearance and material choice.
The DFLEKT prototype has been 3rd party tested by an approved UK Accreditation Service (UKAS) business as well as gaining approval from Secured By Design. It is now Police-endorsed and is recommended by them as an approved crime prevention product.
