Alex Lee

Alex Lee

Director

Alex has over 10 years of product design consultancy experience working on a wide range of products and industries. He has an obsessive eye for detail and enjoys solving tricky design problems. He has extensive experience in refining products for manufacture.

If you find Alex outside of work he will probably be running at high speed around Cheltenham, or looking after his young son. He is a keen runner and member of the Cheltenham Harriers and is enjoying the experience of being a new father.


Andrew Aylesbury

Andrew Aylesbury

Director

Andrew has a broad knowledge of design with a particular interest in styling, ergonomics and product functionality. He has worked on products in sectors ranging from baby products to mechanised tools for the building industry.

Outside of work Andrew attempts various sports with limited success. He enjoys snowboarding, squash, tennis, swimming and scuba diving. His main interest is all things cars, but it’s generally best not to mention them in case he starts talking about them.


Joe Bunyan

Joe Bunyan

Product Designer

Joe graduated from Loughborough University with a first class honours degree. He excels at styling and refining new concepts and also has an excellent knowledge of how to engineer and manufacture products thoroughly.

Cycling and Tennis are Joe’s main interests outside of work, he recently took his road bike ‘the Cougar’ up to Yorkshire to watch the Tour de France and is a member of a local tennis club. He can also be found at the cinema quite regularly watching dubious films involving monsters, zombies or aliens.


Robert Dutton

Robert Dutton

Product Designer / Animator

Robert enjoys solving new challenges and producing functional, aesthetic design solutions for a wide range of products. He is also an expert product animator, and has a keen eye for graphics & branding.

In his spare time, Robert enjoys climbing and can often be found halfway up a cliff face hanging on by his fingertips in the style of Sylvester Stallone from Cliffhanger. He also enjoys watching films, computer games and producing music and has spent time teaching English in Tokyo, Japan.


Stephen McIntosh

Stephen McIntosh

Product Designer

Stephen is an excellent problem solver, and excels at initial concept development of new ideas. He enjoys the process of exploring different ways of solving complex design problems, sketch development and CAD modelling.

Outside of work, Stephen stars for his local football team where he terrorises defences from the left wing. He is also a huge fan of Star Wars and hopes to be able to design the next millennium falcon soon (massive leap in available technology permitting).


Jan Lee

Jan Lee

Textile Development

Jan has extensive experience in textile development and enjoys the process of turning concept sketches into functional prototypes. She initially trained in fashion design and dressmaking, and her experience in developing high quality textile prototypes and patterns make her an invaluable resource to Duku. Her attention to detail is second to none.

In her free time, Jan enjoys yoga, walks by the seafront and trips abroad. She is also an fantastic chef!


Kristo Shivachev

Mechanical Engineer

Kristo is a highly experienced Design Engineer. His passion for engineering and design drives him to push the boundaries of each product, until a good concept becomes a successful product. He particularly enjoys solving tricky engineering problems and eliminating unneccessary production costs from products.

In his spare time, Kristo’s life revolves around fixing what his son breaks and looking after his young daughter. He also enjoys cycling, swimming and tennis.


Katie Oliver

Katie Oliver

Trademark Attorney

Katie has wide experience in all aspects of TM law, including TM selection and searching, portfolio management and filing and prosecution of TM applications throughout the world. She enjoys working with clients throughout the brand creation process to ensure strong protection of I.P assets.

Katie is a keen equestrian, having first sat astride a very hairy pony at the age of four and enjoyed a three day eventing career, culminating in British team selection.

Robert’s patent career began at the UK Patent Office, where he worked as a Patent Examiner for four years. Robert founded Albright IP in 2006 to provide quality Patent & Trademark services at competitive costs and now employs a team of 24 people.

Before having children, Robert enjoyed mountain biking, walking in the Brecon Beacons and body boarding in Pembrokeshire.  Nowadays, he is more likely to be seen at a farm park, swimming pool, or beach with his two young daughters.

Julia lays claim to 20 years post qualification experience. Upon graduating with an Honours Degree in Law, she trained and qualified as a Trademark Attorney with Unilever PLC.

The professional experience Julia is able to draw upon, allows her to provide an insightful and commercial approach to brand management and protection, including the complex issues of ownership and licensing.


Adrian Hocking

Patent Attorney

Adrian is a Fellow of the British Chartered Institute of Patent Attorneys (CIPA), a qualified European patent attorney and a European design attorney. He is a partner at Albright IP and has a huge range of patent drafting and prosecution experience in a variety of fields including electric motors, IC engines and surgical tools.

In his spare time, Adrian enjoys outdoor activities with his family, and can often be found throwing himself down steep hills and getting muddy on his mountain bike.


Darren Stevens

Managing Director - Prestbury Marketing & Consulting

Darren has 30 years’ experience of working in Marketing and Public Relations and prior to setting up Prestbury Marketing in 2010 he worked for Bang & Olufsen and Chelsea Building Society where he was Marketing Director. Darren is passionate about what marketing and PR can achieve for companies, products and brands and thrives on applying his experience, knowledge and insight to a wide range of brands. Darren’s favourite pastime is supporting Gloucester Rugby Club.


Jenny Jervis

Jenny Jervis

Marketing Consultant - Prestbury Marketing & Consulting

Jenny has 15 years’ experience of working in Marketing and Public Relations. Prior to joining Prestbury Marketing in 2015, Jenny worked for Chelsea Building Society where she managed the entire Savings Product Design and Marketing portfolio, she then went on to work at Endsleigh Insurance Services ltd where she was Marketing Manager across a range of product lines. Jenny loves all things marketing and enjoys keeping abreast of the constantly changing marketing environment we now find ourselves in. Jenny thrives on finding marketing and PR solutions to suit the needs of a wide range of brands, products and services.

Outside of work Jenny is kept busy with her two small children. She manages to squeeze in regular gym sessions to keep up with the crazy toddlers.
